Pictures of BBC Broadcasting House currently being rebuilt at massive cost in Portland Place London taken by the Wireless Waffler on 6th February 2007

The back section which was the extension is undergoing demolition and rebuild and is in wraps and dominated by cranes which are not pictured in the shot above

Work on the demolish and rebuild of Egton House, the home of the BBC Gramophone Library and Radio 1 is well advanced - you can see how the front of the new broadcasting centre will look

A view from a distance - you can see some work on the right of the building but not clearly - the London Bus spoils the view of the rebuild of Egton and the front of Broadcasting framing All Souls Church!  Does anyone have a better shot?

Finally the statue on the front of Prospero and Ariel perfectly preserved!
